Exercises to Strengthen your Intuition - expressive mark making

These videos were created for middle school students as part of an art masterclass program here in Phoenix. The students and teachers loved these exercises and it was a pleasure to see their enthusiasm for the project. These large paintings are what is used for the grid and picture in picture exercises.

This was first demonstrated in black and white, then the students went on to add color. (I recommend two primaries to keep the painting from becoming muddy.)
